First Holy Communion Mass
First Holy Communion Mass
This afternoon we celebrated Mass for the feast of St Peter and St Paul with a special focus on the children who have made their Holy Communion this year. Thank you to Year 3 for preparing Mass for us and to the parents and families who came to support them. May God bless those children who have received their Holy Communion for the first time this year.
We will be celebrating Mass for our Year 6 leavers on Thursday 12th July at 2pm. All parents are invited to attend especially those of Year 6 children.
Year 6 production
A huge well done to the Year 6s for their fantastic performances of ‘The Adventures of Superstan’ this week. Firstly, to the school on Monday and then to their families on Wednesday night. With a lot of lines, songs and dance moves to learn they all did amazingly well!
End of Year Raffle
We will be holding an end of year raffle with many prizes such as a beauty hamper, sweet hamper, scooters, manicure and pedicure vouchers, toys and many more. Tickets are on sale before school and the draw will take place following our Leaver’s Mass on Thursday 12th July.
Sun hats and water bottles
As the weather improves I would like to remind you of the importance of wearing a sun hat during play time and lunch time and bringing a water bottle to school every day. Sun hats can be purchased from Stevensons but Mrs Johnson has ONE left in the office priced at £4.00. Water bottles, which can be refilled through the day, should be clearly marked with the child’s name.
Signing Out After School Club
Please remember to sign your children out when collecting them from the after school club. It is very important to write the time that you have collected your child so that the after school club staff are able to keep an accurate record of pupils present. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
A reminder that Prize Day is Wednesday 11th July at 7pm. We hope that all children from Year 1 to Year 6 will attend with their parents. There will be a performance by the KS2 choir, KS1 will be singing a song and the Year 6 responsibilities will be announced.
Unfortunately, there were no classes with 100% attendance or no lates this week. I hope that next week there are more classes with 100% punctuality and attendance.
Please can you inform the office if you have any change in your contact details (email address, phone, address, etc.).
